Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Field-Based Project Manager to oversee on-site construction projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for managing field operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining quality control, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise on-site construction activities and field personnel
- Coordinate daily with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure efficient progress
- Ensure all work meets CMR’s quality standards and project specifications
- Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and safety meetings
- Maintain accurate project documentation and daily logs
- Report progress to senior management and address potential issues proactively
- Coordinate with clients to provide updates and maintain strong relationships
- Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and safety regulations
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in construction or renovation project management
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and scopes of work
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Proficient in project management tools and construction scheduling software
- Reliable transportation to travel between job sites
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
